Four young people started their apprenticeship at OeTTINGER Brauerei GmbH on 1 September. Managing Director Michael Mayer together with HR Manager Dominika Steinberg and trainers Barbara Lechner, Jürgen Reiß and Thomas Wiedemann, jointly welcomed the new “trainees” and wished them a successful start to their professional careers. Julian Erdle and Andreas Bigler are starting their training to become a Brewer / Maltster in the technical department, while Laura Pfauth will undergo training to become an Industrial Clerk and Ulrich Zeidler will be trained as a Professional Driver.

After welcoming them to the company, Managing Director Michael Mayer took the trainees on a tour of the OeTTINGER Brewery. The trainees were fascinated by the high-performance bottling systems capable of bottling 2,500,000 litres of beer every day. The picking of orders and loading of trucks in the Shipping department also appeared very exciting.

The new trainees spent their first lunch break with the old trainees in the Fürnheim Brewery Tavern, where Mrs. Kollmar was awaiting them to give them an insight into the history of the brewery. Everyone had an opportunity to get to know each other over lunch. The day ended for the new apprentices with a tour through the Administration department of the OeTTINGER Brewery where they met their new colleagues.
