For the third time in a row, “Monde Selection” presented OeTTINGER Hefeweizen beer (can 24, 0.5l) with the gold medal. For the consistently high quality, the managing director of OeTTINGER Brauerei Dr. Karl Liebl, was also able to accept the International High Quality Trophy at the awards ceremony in Malta. The jury hereby acknowledged the continuous high standard, which is evident through the three consecutive awards.

“At OeTTINGER, we place great emphasis on quality and safety – much more than the standards customary in this industry,” Dr. Liebl explained in Valetta. “This is why we are so happy that Monde Selection has decided to reward our commitment again in 2017, and we gladly accept the award as an incentive to maintain our high standard.” More than 3000 products from 89 countries were vetted by “Monde Selection”. “We review the ingredients, labelling, packaging, the honest and transparent communication with customers, as well as innovation in our evaluation,” Patrick de Halleux, President of “Monde Selection” stated in Malta. In addition to the product quality and safety, factors such as taste and sustainability play a decisive role when allocating the award.
