This year’s graduates were presented with their certificates on 20 July 2018 at the State Vocational Centre in Starnberg. 20-year old Simon Hoffmann from Hainsfarth was one of the 140 or so students thrilled to receive their diplomas, but was also awarded the Bavarian State Prize as he received the top grade of 1.0 for his diploma.
Simon Hoffmann completed a three-year long training course as a Skilled Food Technologist at OeTTINGER Brauerei GmbH. Apart from production and the analysis of food products, the main focus of this training course is also on packaging and maintenance of the production plants.
Managing Director Michael Mayer and shareholder Pia Kollmar congratulated the exceptional diploma holder, but were equally pleased about the examination result of Leonie August from Marktoffingen, who also completed the same training course with flying colours and was awarded an impressive 1.1. “We are damn proud of our top apprentices,” stated shareholder Pia Kollmar and Managing Director Michael Mayer. And to make sure that the two students were able to appropriately celebrate their outstanding results, each received a restaurant voucher for the Forstquell Brewery in Fürnheim.
