Life-saving, cultural, and particularly heart-felt voluntary commitment: The sheer variety of voluntary activities that our employees participate in was once again reflected in the latest round of donations from the personnel development program at our headquarters in Oettingen.
Klaus Kucs, professional driver at the Walldorf warehouse, successfully applied for a donation for the Hendsemer Herolde fanfare band. He will use the sum of EUR 850 to support the association’s youth work.
The same amount was awarded to Master Brewer Daniel Moll, who will put the donation towards the Deiningen voluntary fire service – they already know what they will use the money buying new club vests for events.
Natalie Bajon, Head of Corporate Communications, applied for a donation on behalf of the KinderHerz Foundation’s cycling fundraising initiative “HerzRadeln”. KinderHerz supports highly specialized cardiac competence centers for children and young heart patients throughout Germany. In the end, another donation of EUR 850 went to the Schloss Oettingen HerzRadeln team.
Princess Cleopatra zu Oettingen-Spielberg, ambassador for the KinderHerz Foundation, visited OeTTINGER Brewery specially to hand over the checks: “I am absolutely delighted that the KinderHerz Foundation has been chosen to receive a donation. I would like to thank OeTTINGER Brewery for making this possible with its personnel development program!”
Brewery boss Pia Kollmar is delighted for all three projects: “Whether it be the fire service, a fanfare band or medical help for the youngest children: There are many worthy causes which deserve our full support. It is always a pleasure to make a contribution in the form of our quarterly personnel development program!”
