Free time sport is one of life’s simple pleasures, as shown by the latest installment of the OeTTINGER personnel development program at our site in Mönchengladbach, with two members of two sports clubs from the region absolutely delighted to receive donations.
Thore Scheer (Dispatch) received a check worth EUR 1,250 for the sports club Anrath 1899 e.V. The money will be used to buy new kit for the handballers in their first men’s team. The remainder of the money is set to benefit youth work at the club.
Deniz Demiray (Bottling), representing the Polizeisportverein 1926 Mönchengladbach e.V., also received a check worth EUR 1,250. The club will use the donation to buy new equipment for their older youth soccer players, who have been playing in the special league “Linker Niederrhein” since last year. The checks were awarded by Oliver Knorn, Head of Maintenance. Both he and his colleagues are delighted: “Both play sports at the clubs themselves in their free time and very much deserve to be awarded these checks from the personnel development program. The donation checks are absolutely in the right hands.”
