Jennifer Nitschke, our truck driver from Mönchengladbach, has received an award for her commitment to equal opportunities for women in the logistics sector.
She was nominated for the “Logistics is female” prize in the “Inspiration is female” category by the Bavarian Logistics Initiative for her social media activities (Female truck driver in a male-dominated sphere). The Bavaria Transport Minister Christian Bernreiter presented Jennifer with her certificate at the Bavaria Night of Logistics ceremony in Nuremberg at the start of this week.
“Logistics is female” is an initiative involving the Bavaria Transport Ministry, the Bavarian Logistics Initiative, and the CNA – the German think tank for transport, commerce, and logistics. Prizes are awarded each year in the following four categories: Inspiration, Strategy, Courage, and Career.
In 2024, the expert committee selected a total of six businesses and 18 individuals from the nominations. And Jennifer Nitschke was one of them!
