OeTTINGER GETRÄNKE Mönchengladbach has once again received the state award for food products Nord Rhein-Westphalia. Production Manager Moritz Krech and Patrick Knorn from Quality Control accepted the award at the end of November 2024 in Düsseldorf from Silke Gorißen, the Minister for Agriculture and Consumer Protection for North Rhine-Westphalia.
The state prize for food products North Rhine-Westphalia has been awarded every year since 2009 by the Ministry of Agriculture. It honors high food product quality as well as manufacturers’ contribution to the community. The award is given to those businesses that “produce food products of the highest quality and that are also committed to providing training opportunities for young people, paying their employees fair wages and caring for the planet,” explained Silke Gorißen before the award ceremony. She also emphasized the importance of regional food production when it comes to safeguarding supply chains and supporting the local economy. She congratulated our Mönchengladbach branch on its “commitment to providing training opportunities and fair wages as well as the high sensory quality of its products.” This is the 13th time our site has won this award.
“We are delighted to receive this fantastic award once again,” said Moritz Krech after the ceremony. “It’s not just recognition of our products, but also the opportunities that we give young people in our region.”
