Warehouse logistics in Mönchengladbach: Everybody needs good neighbors
This month, we began storing some of the filled cans produced by our Mönchengladbach site at our neighbors KaBa Storage. As a welcome gesture, KaBa invited a few colleagues to a small, informal reception. It was really cool to see that in honor of the occasion, KaBa had stretched a red ribbon between our two businesses, which we jointly snipped in half as a symbolic way of sealing our future cooperation.
14th North Rhine-Westphalia State Award for Food Products
For the 14th consecutive year, we have been honored with the North Rhine-Westphalia State Award for Food Products. The award was accepted in Dusseldorf by Dr. Marco Potreck, Operations Manager at our Mönchengladbach site, and Sven Willlim, Deputy Production Manager. It was presented by Silke Gorißen, Minister for Agriculture and Consumer Protection in the state government of North Rhine Westphalia.

The Kollmar shareholder family supports further training in the Donau-Ries region
Three young men and women have been awarded scholarships by the Günther and Ingrid Kollmar Foundation this year. They will each receive support for their further training at a value of 9,000 euros overall.
Visitor tours at OeTTINGER BEVERAGES
We are expanding our visitor experience and will once again be offering brewery tours at our Oettingen site starting in October. The Mönchengladbach site has a long-standing tradition of offering guided tours, which are passionately led by certified beer ambassador Meinolf Saure, and now, after taking a break for a few years, we have developed a completely new visitor experience at our headquarters in Oettingen. It will be available in the coming month and will showcase a wide range of insights into our world of brewing.
Oettingen: Seven apprentices start their training
Today, seven young people begin their training at OeTTINGER BEVERAGES. Welcome on board! Our new apprentices will surely bring fresh energy during these first few days – here’s to a successful, exciting time in our team!

The cross-location apprentice event was held April 14–16, 2025, at our Mönchengladbach site.
Routine fire department inspection at OeTTINGER BEVERAGES
There was a lot going on at our headquarters in Oettingen Nord the other evening! Nothing to worry about – the local volunteer fire department (feuerwehr-oettingen.de) was simply carrying out a routine inspection of the premises.
Circular economy: Upcycling CO2 at OeTTINGER BEVERAGES
Upcycling CO2? That’s old news! We’ve been doing it for years: Brewing, capturing carbon dioxide generated during fermentation, processing it, and then reusing it ourselves. This is not only great for the climate, but saves cash and helps to safeguard our independence too!
