The profession

Training as a food technology specialist is for anyone who wants to experience something new every day. You have the opportunity to be creative and turn your idea into a real product. Inspecting raw materials and preparing them for processing are just two of the many tasks you will take on as a food technology specialist. You will be involved in all stages of production, from receiving the raw materials to the finished packaged product. Sounds pretty interesting, doesn't it?

To see how the returnable bottles are actually cleaned, or how the beer is always filled so evenly. You receive raw materials and check them, then you either have to forward the products to the warehouse or directly to processing.

Throughout the entire process, you are responsible for ensuring that everything is in order with the raw materials, that the necessary ingredients are provided for further processing and that the machines are set up correctly. During production, you monitor the whole process and check the end products. Of course, the quality of the products must also be tested, so you may also taste them from time to time.
