Outstanding quality is a hallmark of our OeTTINGER Brewery, and the latest results of the quality controls of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) pay testament to this fact: We have again been awarded the prize for long-standing product quality by the independent DLG experts for 2022 as well. This was the tenth time that our headquarters in Oettingen have successfully impressed the jury, while our Braunschweig and Mönchengladbach sites claimed this award for the fourth time.
Jürgen Brunacker, Head of Engineering and Technology at the OeTTINGER Group, says: “Our commitment to top quality is a cornerstone of the OeTTINGER philosophy. It is not just about getting it right once. Our aim is to give our best over and over again, every single day, brewing every single beer to perfection – from Pils or Export to Helles or Weißbier, all the way through to our Alt and Bock varieties. We are absolutely delighted to receive this much-coveted external quality certification. It is also proof that we are real team players. After all, it is only because we all pull together that we have been able to deliver such outstandingly high quality all these years – at an unbeatable price to boot.”
The regular quality controls of the DLG have now become part of our brewery’s success story. In addition to the awards received by our individual production sites for long-standing product quality, numerous OeTTINGER products have also already been awarded coveted DLG prizes. Our brewery’s proud record now stands at a total of 286 DLG medals since 1980. On top of this, OeTTINGER has been awarded ten prizes at individual state level (Landesehrenpreise) in addition to five awards at national level (Bundesehrenpreise) in the foodstuffs category.

All smiles thanks to further DLG awards (from the left): Jürgen Brunacker (Head of Engineering and Technology at the OeTTINGER Group) and Mönchengladbach colleagues Frank Müller (Head of Bottling), Holger Bruckes (Deputy Quality Control Manager) and Master Brewer Moritz Krech.
