This year, our Original OeTTINGER brand won its first-ever Beverage Award, taking third place in the Fassbrausen category. These awards are presented by about-drinks.com, the online magazine for beverage professionals.
“Together, our five Fassbrause varieties Mango, Zitrone, Himbeer Minze, Melone Grapefruit and the summertime variety Blaue Beeren make up a newly emerging segment under the Original OeTTINGER umbrella brand”, comments Peter Böck, Director of Sales and Marketing at OeTTINGER Brewery, adding that: “This award and our excellent ranking are a testament to the fact that these innovations have now become permanent fixtures on the market. The rankings are based on votes from around 8,500 about-drinks.com readers. They were able to first nominate and then select their favorite drinks brands across 30 separate categories,
ranging from soft drinks to energy drinks and iced teas, all the way through to eight different varieties of beer.
First launched in 2014, this is now the fifth time that the about-drinks.com Beverage Awards have been presented. There is no expert panel tasked with choosing the winning brands; rather, the winners are decided on the basis of reader votes alone.
