The latest students from Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences to be awarded an OeTTINGER scholarship are Julia and Niklas, both of whom are studying ecotrophology in Mönchengladbach. During the scholarship selection, they both stood out as particularly talented and high-achieving. When they complete their studies, they will be experts in sustainable nutrition and food production.
Since 2011, our brewery in Mönchengladbach has participated in the “Deutschlandstipendium” funding program operated by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and has worked closely with Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. For us, it is a great opportunity each year to accompany two young people on their academic journey and to ignite in them an interest in our company. As a result, they often visit our brewery, and OeTTINGER frequently features in or forms the basis of their study research projects. Our monthly financial support package also gives the scholarship recipients the freedom to test themselves and conduct their own research, in addition to exchanging views and ideas in discussions with specialists.
