Our Original OeTTINGER Malz is still on everybody’s lips. Having recently attracted attention on an expedition to the South Pole, our popular thirst-quencher once again finds itself in the limelight. In the survey “German Consumer Awards 2023 – Germany’s best brands”, our Malz proved to be a real hit among consumers, after it secured first place in terms of value for money in the malt beer product segment.

We are absolutely delighted that our refreshing yet full-bodied malt beer was able to secure top spot. Our brewers are simply the best! For the “German Consumer Awards 2023 – Germany’s best brands” survey, the German Society for Consumer Studies (DtGV) investigated for the third time which brands are continuing to enjoy high levels of popularity despite inflation having altered purchasing behavior. In order to cover the broadest possible product spectrum, the DtGV put 148 product segments under the microscope and conducted online surveys across both January and February. For these, around 5,300 consumers aged between 18 and 89 were asked to give their thoughts on more than 1,800 brands. In the Germany-wide rankings, the best brands were recognized with awards in the categories of customer satisfaction, quality, and value for money.
The bottom line: OeTTINGER Malz’s fantastic performance in the “German Consumer Awards 2023 – Germany’s best brands” survey is yet further confirmation of our company ethos: Top quality need not cost the world!
