Since the start of the year, we have been offering a new apprenticeship at our Oettingen site with the aim of training IT specialists in the area of system integration. The apprenticeship program runs for a period of three years and is geared towards young people with a school leaving certificate or Abitur.
But what does an IT specialist for system integration actually do?
People working in this role serve as the first point of contact for colleagues who may have questions regarding potential issues with systems and hardware. These IT experts are also responsible for the planning, development, set-up, maintenance, and security of IT systems.
