Outstanding quality and great value for money – that’s the conclusion of the latest study carried out by the German consumer organization Stiftung Warentest in relation to our OeTTINGER alcohol-free range. We received an overall evaluation of “GOOD”, with a total score of 2.5 – one of the best results from this round of testing!
What exactly was tested?
As part of the test, 20 alcohol-free bottom-fermented beers in the pilsner, lager, and helles styles, as well as two organic beers and two foreign brands, were all put through their paces. Stiftung Warentest carried out tests in the lab and offered a sensory evaluation. Among other aspects, the lab professionals analyzed how well the head of the beers remained intact and their thirst-quenching properties, in addition to the presence of harmful substances, statements on the label and advertising slogans.
The beers tested received scores of between 2.0 and 4.5. Prices per liter range between 84 cents and 3.25 euros.
