Our young colleague Jennifer Nitschke, who works at our Mönchengladbach site, has been nominated by the Bavarian Logistics Initiative for the “Logistics is female” award in the category “Inspiration is female” for her social media content that shows what it is like to be a woman in a traditionally male- dominated sphere: driving trucks.
The award ceremony will take place in conjunction with the Bavaria | Night of Logistics event in Nuremberg in July 2024, when we will find out whether Jennifer is victorious. Until then, we will all have our fingers crossed for her!
About the Bavarian Logistics Initiative
The Bavarian Logistics Initiative is the brainchild of the Bavarian government. However, owing to the very nature of the sector, both its network and its sphere of action are internationally oriented. We received two “Logistics is female” awards back in 2022. Both the company itself and majority shareholder Pia Kollmar earned the award for “inspiring commitment and courageous action”.
