OeWater has officially passed its first big test, and it was a muddy one at that! Last weekend, 12,000 female runners were treated to a sample of our protein soda as a refreshing reward for taking part in the Muddy Angel Run in Berlin: 5 kilometers of mud, sand, water, and foam!
Our OeWater received fantastic feedback! It’s incredible to think that our three varieties of protein soda can now be found not only in Berlin and Brandeburg, but also in all of the 130 or so Getränke Hoffmann stores across Germany. And for all #NEVERNORMAL fans, you can of course also get your hands on OeWater from the OeDrinks online store. And we even had a Muddy Angel of our own taking part in the race with Alisa, a model who completed the run for OeWater.
The fun continues in September, when we’ll be getting muddy in Hamburg (September 14 and 15) and Cologne (September 28 and 29).
About the Muddy Angel Run
According to the event organizers, the Muddy Angel Run is Europe’s most successful mud run for women (and girls from 12 years of age) of all fitness levels. The course is approximately 5 km long and features 15 muddy obstacles to overcome as a team throughout. To reach the end, participants have to run, jump, dive, crawl, dance, and climb – they laugh, get mucky, and have lots of fun in the process. The participants pay a small fee in order to take part, of which between one and two euros is donated to the German breast cancer charity Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V.
